I have a pond with a maximum capacity of 15 fish. At present, I have 10 yellow fish and 5 orange fish.
Each year, frogs lay their spawn in the pond and unfortunately some of the spawn is eaten by the fish. Of my fish, 4 yellow fish and 3 orange fish eat frogspawn.
Therefore, if I were to say that more yellow fish eat frogspawn than orange fish, that statement would be factually correct.
However, if my objective were to keep the pond at its maximum capacity of 15 fish while minimising the amount of frogspawn eaten, which would be the best option?
1: Keep 15 yellow fish?
2: Keep 15 orange fish?
3: Keep an equal mix of yellow and orange fish?
