Parts of Iowa are good but there are also place that are 20 bushel off also. Central and southeastern Iowa had the same rain events that hit central Illinois.

USDA could miss judge the weight of a chicken buy 5 pounds !! Problem is they have no repercussion if they are way off they just create corn or corn acres !! They literally bite the hand that feeds them

My seed corn dealers are saying it is around 10-15% lower than last year in NW Iowa. Not sure about the rest of the State. Good dirt didn't suffer much, marginal soil was a challenge this year.
