GMB union sent email that driverless cars are coming and to find a different job in 5 years. Are they supposed to protect jobs or tell member find an exit plan. I stopped my membership after this email

I cancelled my membership a few months ago. they asked why, I said it's a total conflict of interest GMB being expected to fight Uber, when Uber probably refers the most members to them. I'm with Unite instead.
