@furst_erik: 🎸 BON JOVI | NEVER SAY GOODBYE (1987) Before arena rock became all about roaring guitars and stadium anthems, Bon Jovi showed another side of their musical identity with this unforgettable power ballad. Written by Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora, “Never Say Goodbye” appeared on the band’s hugely successful third album, Slippery When Wet (1986). It was released as a single in 1987. Fun fact: Unlike the explosive energy of “Livin’ on a Prayer,” this track takes a slower, more reflective approach, giving Jon’s vocals and Richie Sambora’s guitar work room to shine. A different kind of Bon Jovi classic, but one that deserves its place in rock history! #BonJovi #NeverSayGoodbye #JonBonJovi #80sRock #ClassicRock
