@spanishlearninglibrary: How do you say my, mine, your, yours, his, or hers in Spanish? These words are used constantly in everyday conversations, but knowing where to place them makes all the difference! MI vs. MÍO Mi libro es nuevo. My book is new. Este libro es mío. This book is mine. TU vs. TUYO ¿Dónde está tu mochila? Where is your backpack? Esta mochila es tuya. This backpack is yours. SU vs. SUYO Su carro está afuera. His/her car is outside. Este carro es suyo. This car is his/hers. Quick way to remember: Mi, tu, su = my, your, his/her (before a noun). Mío, tuyo, suyo = mine, yours, his/hers (can stand without repeating the noun). Remember, tu means your, tú means you, and ti means you after a preposition, as in para ti. Don’t just memorize the words. Practice them in everyday sentences until they become natural!
