He has mentioned about “Mere Pass Tum Ho” where the main lead choose to die rather than accepting his wife again. But I have to say this she cheated and the ending was justified in that drama bcz cheating can’t be justified in any way.

You’re right, but if you’re talking about Mere Paas Tum Ho, he divorced her, and she wanted to come back into his life. Can they simply live together again after divorce without fulfilling the Islamic requirements? That’s the issue I’m pointing out. You can’t compare the two situations.

I agree and disagree. Zaryab is going through a major heartbreak. And she married Abu Bakr out of spite. She wanted it herself, her family wasn’t going through this heartbreak, they were shocked yes, but instead of showing a way of healing, suggesting therapy or anything like that. Even just give her time to deal with this no. She wants a puppet and she gets it. Like a child. That’s a big flaw in the story, in my opinion. Because she didn’t think it through and neither did her family. Saying yes 3 times is easy. The hard part is to stay married.
