You know how I see it? It’s like in a political party - you get awards for the certain domain , to become a brand and advocate for the interest groups. Nothing personal, everything for glory and TEDTalk while smart people work for you. Empty-headed people get recognitions. I know many people on the global chairs who are just on the pictures for regional and global awards , as a front person representative to justify the ROI. 🫠🤣🤣🤣
