Nope. I wanted iCU or ED. ICU told me to get Medsurg experience while the ED welcomed me with open arms as a new grad RN with 9 years of LPN experience.

I truly don’t think I would have been able to fall in love with nursing if I didn’t go straight into pediatrics. Fell in love with Peds hem/onc and now I’m in that specialty and so happy I had the Peds foundation before.
