@dutchbreakingnews: Footage of a delivery driver being tasered in Amsterdam has prompted criticism of the officer’s actions. The incident happened around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 29, on Runstraat. Police say the driver refused to move his van and provide identification, then grabbed the officer’s wrist during the attempted arrest. AT5 reports that footage shows brief contact with the officer’s wrist. The driver was questioned and released with three fines. Whether the taser use was necessary and proportionate will be assessed through the standard review of police use of force.
