@bookishaquarius: Your phone is not freezing. It’s me. 🤡✍️ I love Charlotte in this scene. She cannot fathom her friend’s reasoning 🧠🧐 🎥 episode 2 - Netherfield Ball Pride and Prejudice (1995) BBC 6-episode series, starring Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy and Jennifer Ehle as Elizabeth Bennet #prideandprejudice #mrdarcy #elizabethbennet #janeausten #tvseries captioned commentary

Meghannnn C :

I know Charlotte was getting tired of having to point out his obvious interest to Lizzie all the time

tockinj156 :

Poor Charlotte, sweet and wise beyond her years and stuck with Mr. Collins. Although “settled”, she must work hard to avoid him daily. I wish Austen could have written someone dreamier for her. 💟

toroku_toroku :

she said "yes"

Childless Cat Lady :

Charlotte with her eye on the prize. And yes, Mr. Collins is a prize despite his obvious flaws. He’s not a drunkard or a gambler, or a womanizer. He’s good-tempered. He makes a respectable living and is the heir to an estate. She’ll have to suffer through him being annoying and obsequious, but she’ll never be afraid of him.

CatCe :

Mr. Darcy in his head when she says YES❣️

Your new step mom :

If everyone listened to charlotte the series would have been 2 minutes long [Tears of joy]
