His feet weren’t moving he’d stopped skating. He hit him very hard first contact shoulder on shoulder. Clean hit . If you wanna go down the road of predatory, it probably is, but that’s what happens when you have your head down he had turned. It wasn’t on the numbers. Are we now looking at a rule for no hitting too hard.

Im a die hard Sens fan and that’s a CLEAN HIT. But in all seriousness he should be suspended not only charging but that’s boarding could have seriously hurt the guy.

As a Sens fan, 5 games and heavily fined. Way too dangerous. I hope Clarke recovers quickly

NHL needs a new rule; you hurt someone with a dirty check you are suspended as long as the victim takes to recover or a minimum of 10 games with zero pay!! This was a vicious elbow go the head at the dasher board!

That was dirty, hockey is physical but you gotta also not to try and kill the player, especially when they're next to the boards, theres absolutely no reason to do that kind of hit

Seriously it’s just a game. It’s not worth killing somebody over.

Full speed hit from behind with no intention of slowing down. Extremely dangerous. 10 games minimum.

A million steps, leaves his feet. Suspend him for 20 games. That shit is insane and he should know better.

Initial contact lol tell me how the f is that dirty. Feet also dint even leave the ice. Forearm/elbow to his shoulder. Now look at Clark’s left leg if it didn’t buckle the way it did he wouldn’t have fell the way he did. CLEAN HIT

Anything short of a 10 game suspension just encourages this kind of hit.

He had his back to the guy till the last second. That is boarding by definition. Can’t really argue it. On top of that, more than three strides to gain speed directly in attempt to hit, charging by definition. An elbow is arguable here as well. Double minor for sure but yeah, reckless play for sure.
