@kqresiv: Guts is the central protagonist of Kentaro Miura’s dark fantasy epic Berserk, a towering, battle-hardened mercenary known as the "Black Swordsman." Born from the corpse of his hanged mother and raised in the brutal world of mercenary warfare, Guts is defined by an astonishing resilience forged through relentless trauma, loss, and physical punishment. Distinctive for his missing left forearm—replaced by a mechanical iron prosthetic housing a hidden cannon—his blinded right eye, and the massive, slab-like sword known as the "Dragon Slayer," he travels a bleak, demon-infested world driven by anger, grief, and a fierce desire to protect those he loves. Behind his grim, intimidating exterior and terrifying combat prowess lies a deeply complex character who constantly fights against the crushing weight of fate, demonic forces, and his own inner darkness to reclaim his humanity and choice.
