I’m raising my 16 year old son to notice and do things before asking. If you see the dishwasher needs to be done you do it and he does. He knows I’m burnt out from cooking dinner all the time so he offers to cook or pick something up. The other day he came home with my favorite flowers that he drove to get and spent his own money on. He sees his father doing the same.
