My wife has a Songmont bag she bought in Shanghai last year. She went in to buy a specific bag and then found this exclusive bag that wasn't even on the website. Its way better quality than any other big Euro brands, store experience was amazing and she loves it.

This is my favorite video of yours. I’m glad you’re calling out and questioning the narrative that “Made in China” has such a negative association. It’s so ingrained in most people that they don’t even notice it. It’s great to see it being questioned. I have 3 Songmont bags and they’ve all held up really well!

China market has such a huge range that often people buy the cheapest end range and complain about the quality. These people have not bought the higher range ones （still cheaper than the west）and experienced the quality.

I have always revered Chinese craftsmanship. Chinese ceramics. Chinese rugs. Chinese art. The list is too long… So it doesn’t surprise me that Songmont is producing gorgeous luxury quality bags inspired by Chinese culture. Like everything else they do, the Chinese are making luxury accessible. (I only wish their electric cars were being sold in the US….)

China is so underrated and underestimated, because we grew up in Era that republic or dynasty was not at it strongest. But they have a long history and I mean sophisticated one. Where they were on their top of their game. We might not always understand in west due to cultural differences. But please do not dismiss them.
