@homewithrosiee: BETTER THAN BOUGHT EPISODE 20 Chocolate Caramel Digestive Biscuit🍫🍯 i’ve been making your shop bought favourites at home and adding a few extra special ingredients while i’m at it🍯 these buttery and oaty biscuits are topped with gooey caramel and coated in chocolate which serve as the ULTIMATE upgrade. You will regret not making these😍🤪 easy recipe listed below Ingredients 200g Wholemeal Flour 100g Plain Flour 80g Oats 300g Salted Butter 80g Caster Sugar x1 Tsp Bicarbonate of Soda x2 Tbsp Milk 150g Caramel 150g Milk Chocolate 1. Blitz the oats until they are small, they act as a glue for the biscuit. 2. Add the oats to a large mixing bowl, alongside the dry ingredients, both flours, sugar and bicarbonate of soda and mix. 3. Add the softened butter and milk and mix into a dough. Once fully combined, roll into a ball and wrap in foil. 4. Refigerate for 30 minutes. 5. Roll out the dough onto a floured surface until it is around 1cm thick. 6. Cut out the biscuits using a glass and use a skewer to make the patterned spots on the biscuits. 7. Chill the biscuits on a lined baking tray in the fridge for 30 minutes. 8. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 180 degrees fan oven. 9. Once out of the oven, leave to cool. 10. Add your caramel using a knife and spread evenly- refigerate for 30 minutes. 11. Add the melted chocolate on top of the digestives, as soon as it is added using a knife to press down onto the melted chocolate to make ridges. #homemade #chocolate #caramel #digestive #biscuit
