The Connecticut Sun were the only major league franchise in American sports history to ever be owned by an ownership group that was a Native American tribe. The tribe made an excellent investment, and they cashed in the chips and made off very well. They actually had a higher bid from an ownership group in Boston I believe, but either way, they still made out very well. The unfortunate thing is, the way the economics of major league sports are in the United States of America, I doubt you will ever see another Native American tribe be able to muster enough money to ever bring another sports franchise to their land again.

The only reason I watched women's basketball because they had a team in Connecticut. now they take it away. I don't care about the WNBA anymore. I don't care about Houston why'd you take away my team

I’m so happy to have them back. I definitely think our logo needed an update. Not my favorite but not terrible.

Excited about getting team back in Houston but shoving the trophies to a team relocating to Houston is a bit cringe. Feels like getting a new gf and glorifying your previous accomplishments with your ex
