I watched it. It’s clear Curry Barkers stamp on the horror genre will be “ominous figures lurking in a dark corner with sudden movements”. It’s was pretty creepy tho.

Saw someone in the YouTube comments comment this and it makes sense to me: it’s in the same universe of Niki and one wish willow. This guy made some kind of wish along the lines of cleaning up his messes without having to do real work (poorly worded) as he is overworked and tired. So it spawned an entity/doppelgänger to do his cleaning. The entity took it as get rid of the kid he had with the mama bear (Lacy) that he didn’t want Aka a mess up. Lacy as mama bear would do anything to defend her cubs. His mom and friend were trying to find out where he was. When he sees the entity he doesn’t ask who it is, he tries to calm it down by saying “hey hey hey… I didn’t do this” as in the mess. Once lacy kills him as revenge and the doppelgänger comes out she realizes she killed the wrong guy

He’s still a very new director, but this just showed me he could possibly be a one trick pony and he has a fixation on Ari aster

I know people saying it’s not the best but that’s probably why it went to YouTube. Just to hold fans attention
