@softgirlnocode: 40 mins raw footage ->>6 mins final video (By the way, this exact CapCut workflow is a lesson in my course, AI Edit Suite, along with the setup and the skill file I edit with. 🔗 in bio.) I started with 6 raw files: 3 talking-head recordings and 3 screen recordings from the same session, about 40 minutes in total. The finished video is 6:08. What happened in between: 1. Video Use synced each camera file to its screen recording using the audio they both picked up. 2. It cut the dead space and retakes, ending each clip on the last word. 3. It matched the screen recording to what I was saying at each moment 4. The Codex CapCut plugin built it all as a normal CapCut timeline from the original recordings. Step 4 is why I like this setup. Nothing gets flattened into one export, so if a trim feels too tight or a B-roll clip is in the wrong spot, I fix it in CapCut myself instead of asking the AI to redo the edit.
