What began as a routine trip back to Florida turned into a tense two-hour encounter with federal agents for Below Deck star Captain Kerry Titherage. According to an exclusive report from Page Six, the reality TV captain had just completed a nine-day yacht trip in the Bahamas and was heading back to Miami when things suddenly went wrong. One of the yacht's four engines stopped working. Then, about 10 miles off the Florida coast, a second engine also failed, leaving Kerry struggling to navigate increasingly rough waters. He called TowBoatUS for emergency assistance. But instead of receiving the help he expected, two federal vessels approached his yacht. One belonged to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, known as ICE, while the other was operated by Customs and Border Protection. According to sources who spoke to Page Six, the agents demanded that Kerry slow down and allow them to board. But he reportedly refused because he feared slowing the yacht in dangerous conditions could put everyone at risk. The two vessels followed him for around two hours before he could safely reduce speed. Once aboard, agents searched the yacht and checked the passengers' passports. They also spent about an hour reviewing the visa of a foreign woman before allowing the yacht to continue to shore. A representative for Kerry said they were glad the situation did not escalate and everyone left safely. ICE did not respond to the publication's request for comment. After more than 30 years at sea, Captain Kerry has faced plenty of challenges. But this journey was certainly unlike anything viewers usually see on Below Deck. Even the most experienced captain can face a situation he never expected. Would you have agreed to slow down in rough waters, or would you have made the same decision as Captain Kerry? \#BelowDeck #CaptainKerry #RealityTV #CelebrityNews #yachtlife
