Wait hear me out… WRITER x DEVOTED READER! The writer has difficulty getting to writing because they keep getting hit with the curse, but perseveres for their one and only reader who’s oblivious to the writer’s struggles. ANGST AND YEARNING BECAUSE THEYRE BOTH THE SAME GENDER AND THEY CANT TELL IF THE OTHER ONE IS GAY, BUT DETERMINED TO WRITE/READ THE STORY FOR EACHOTHER REGARDLESS

Once again the ao3 maintenance team and all of the volunteers deserve so much love I cannot imagine what they are going through and I fear for what they will go through whenever the site comes back up and they have to deal with the monumental amount of traffic and uploads as disappointing as it is that it's going down for a month I think we need to remember to never blame the ao3 workers they are doing their best and again they are volunteers

Guys go to ao3’s Reddit, there was a post that was posted right after the time ao3 shutdown and OP posted google doc of like 5000 fics, organized into fandoms and everything!

Two people found me on Tumblr, remembered my username and looked for me, to let me know they got booted halfway through my most popular longfic and were devastated. So, I spent the 12 hours after making a publicly accessible Ellipsus reader link of the backup doc, and replied to them publicly to let EVERYONE know it's there. Fanfic is about community, and I'm not abandoning mine

I've wandered back to good old fanfiction.net to some familiar fics I lost track of and never finished reading. One has become a 300+ chapter monster... ☺️
