@meileeproductions: I turned 50 last October. Two months later, I quit my full-time job. I didn't have another job lined up. Our new business wasn't replacing my salary. And I definitely didn't have entrepreneurship all figured out. I just knew I wanted to spend my time building something I cared about—with my daughter. Almost a year later, I work harder for less money, know far more about Etsy algorithms and fulfillment systems than I ever intended to, and regularly discover entirely new things that can go wrong. And somehow, I've never felt more at peace with where I am.
