our healthcare was far better under the previous Liberal government. It was starting to improve in hospitals but it could've been better in other areas that had been cut previously. But today's healthcare is a disaster and people's health is declining exponentially due to these cuts to our public health care because Ford is intent on sending money from our public healthcare to the private sector which costs much more.

I’m in patient flow.. my job is to find beds for these pts. I literally admitted someone who was still in the waiting room because they had no space in the ED or the hallways.. they were treated in the damn waiting room.. We are so under funded..

i had to quit my hospital job cus it was not safe constantly understaffed and so many people with beds in the hallways because we didnt have enough open rooms, it wasnt safe at all i was constantly overwhelmed and tired, one person is responsible for almost the whole unit

My family doctor sadly passed away at the young age of 48. Dr Dharrsi of Orillia. I literally cried when I heard this news. I was one of his first patients in 2010. He was pragmatic and very empathetic. I 🙏 another capable physician takes his practice over. 4000 patients.

So, I know my municipality has this program that has been trying to recruit doctors and RPNs. Not saying we’ve done the best in recruiting. But it’s a slow process. Same goes to the municipality next-door. That’s recruited I think about 30 family docs in the last few years. With financial help of they come.

My sister has a seizure an hit her head an it opened up. After going to the ER by ambulance she was seen but then told to wait in the ER waiting room. Now after a seizure she is so upset tried an all around disoriented. That waiting in waiting room isn’t a good thing. It was going to be 4 hours. She went home to sleep.

honestly, I was at the emergency department a couple weeks ago and it was a nightmare experience. I was there for about 14 hours. It was bedlam. people were moaning loudly somebody had soiled themselves.

It’s almost like if we paid attention at all and voted, we could fix this. There is 0 excuse for our provincial government and 0 excuse for the lack of voter turnout. It’s so incredibly frustrating.

Thankfully I was only there 5 hours but had my stitches done in the hallway last year

Can confirm, I sat in a hallway for hours with appendicitis and only got a room for one hour (while they administered meds and did tests). And then they kicked me out into the hallway until I had to go to another section for surgery.
