@user21297829729098: Sir Patrick Stewart's final public appearance was not on a Hollywood red carpet, but in the stands supporting the football club he had loved since childhood. The legendary *Star Trek* actor was last publicly photographed watching Huddersfield Town play Crawley at Broadfield Stadium on November 9, 2024. At 84, he wore his beloved team's scarf and smiled as he watched the match, showing his lifelong loyalty to the Yorkshire club. Nearly two years later, his family announced that the 86-year-old actor had passed away in Los Angeles following what they described as a brief and poignant journey with Alzheimer's disease and Lewy body dementia. Huddersfield Town paid tribute to their famous supporter, describing him as a giant of his profession and a hero to millions around the world. The club also highlighted how fiercely proud he was of his Yorkshire roots, saying he would always be remembered as one of their own. Stewart had largely stepped away from public appearances during his final two years, although he made it clear in his last interview that he had no intention of officially retiring from acting. His final acting appearance will come posthumously in *Avengers: Doomsday*, where he reprises his famous role as Charles Xavier. However, for Huddersfield supporters, one of their most treasured memories will always be seeing Sir Patrick Stewart in the stands, wearing their scarf and cheering on the team he had supported since he was just seven years old. **What is your favorite Patrick Stewart performance: Captain Jean-Luc Picard or Professor Charles Xavier?** #PatrickStewart #StarTrek #XMen #HollywoodLegend #celebritynews
