The 2026 Lexus IS350 refresh includes some nice exterior and interior upgrades but the most important aspect remains unchanged: The 3.5 liter naturally-aspirated V6 making 311 horsepower and 280 foot-pounds of torque. While this isn’t a segment leader when it comes to performance or efficiency, it’s hard to beat the linear feel of a NAV6 and nearly impossible to beat the reliability of this tried and true powertrain. I also appreciate the no-nonsense approach that skips technologies engineered for fuel economy savings like engine start stop technology, which is widely considered a frustrating part of new vehicles. Considering the technology is subsidized, it’s a true luxury move for Lexus to skip it. Unfortunately though, the dates powertrain comes with a rather sluggish 8-speed automatic that makes spirted driving a little less entertaining, but nonetheless is smooth around town. #cars #luxurysedan #is350 #lexusisking #v6
