@johnnyjamaicamix: Rest in peace. A young Ghanaian life taken too soon. You came to America with hopes and dreams for a brighter future. I came from Jamaica to America too, and I was bullied with the cruel “banana boat” insult. I know how deeply words like that can hurt, and I can only imagine what you may have endured. No young person should be made to feel unwelcome because of where they come from. To Javits’s parents: I am deeply sorry for the loss of your beloved son. May you find strength in one another and feel surrounded by love and comfort in this heartbreaking time. His life mattered, and he will be remembered. Rest peacefully, Javits. With heartfelt condolences and comfort to your family.🙏🏼😢💔
