It’s true, the second year about took me out! I am on year 5 without my mom, 6.5 years without my younger sister and almost 3 without my dad! I say the first year is a fog and the second year is when it all kicks in!

Yeeeeah, sorry about that. I think grief reveals deeper fears and traumas, especially if the death was unexpected/violent/unjust. I went through a spiritual crisis, panic attacks, agoraphobia. It was awful. Therapy helped. The book I Wasn't Ready to Say Goodbye was also helpful (my mom's death was very unexpected and traumatic.)
