BlaineNeverStops :
A really smart man told me once that three things make a good customer experience:
Is it good for the customer?
Is it good for the employee or salesperson?
Is it good for the company?
In that order.
And it sounds like you lead with that same logic.
However, if a salesperson is more focused on making a good commission, that's not necessarily what's best for the customer. If a dealership is pushing its own financing, insurance, and services, even when the customer has already presented better options, that's not putting the customer first either.
And when the salesperson keeps pushing those products anyway, it hurts them too. Now the customer feels unheard and might walk away from the entire deal just on principle.
I've had some great experiences at car dealerships, but unfortunately, the majority of dealerships I've visited and salespeople I've dealt with seem to have those priorities backward.
The company's best interest comes first, the salesperson's comes second, and the customer's comes last.
And that's unfortunate because taking care of the customer should be what makes everything else successful.
Anyway, keep making content! You're doing great, and never stop being you! :)
