๐โค๏ธI Have a Message for Everyone, Especially Ethiopian Parents Living Overseas!
To all Ethiopian parents raising children in foreign countries, we have a responsibility to teach our children about our faith, culture, traditions, and identity.
Just because our children were born or raised in another country does not mean they should forget where they come from, their family's beliefs, or their Ethiopian heritage.
We should explain to our children what Halloween is, why people celebrate it, and why we, as Ethiopian Orthodox Christians, choose not to participate.
We should teach them with love, patience, and understanding, not with fear or hatred.
Respecting other people's cultures does not mean we have to abandon our own.
We can respect everyone while staying strong in our own faith and beliefs.
As parents, our responsibility is to raise our children with faith, love, respect, good values, and strong morals.
This is my personal belief and opinion. I respect everyone's choices, even when we disagree.
Thank you all for your comments, your support, and for sharing your opinions. I appreciate every one of you.
๐โค๏ธMay God bless you all and protect our children!
