3 layers is needed so 1) white base to make the multiply layer at top color accurate 2) shadow 3)design. Maybe that helps artists understand this process more hehe

For those wondering if it works in other softwares, it should as long as that software has similar tranform tools like mesh transform or warp and also similar layer properties!
