It is so hard not to take it personally. I manage a very nice consignment shop in our town and it happens to us also. It does make you suspicious of everyone, which is a horrible way to feel about people! It happens everywhere, unfortunately. Put your cameras up and keep being awesome!

what a shame you have to put cameras up. Maybe you could put the black tags that you have to take off when items are purchased. If you have an employee that could sit upstairs and watch customers. Good Luck

Close the upstairs. Bring the clothes downstairs. Even downstairs you have to be careful even if you see somebody do it they could harm you. It’s not worth it. Bless you too.

It’s not your fault! Also, I’ve never at stopped thinking about the 2 guys that stole a neon sign when I was working the night shift at Perkins in 1992 and my manager saying it was like $2000. 😂😂😂
