In VT we had a guy put a squareback over a 2020 Jetta chassis. Used two squarebacks to stretch it.

If I may advise. Chop TT as much as possible,so Type3 body sits as low as possible. I did that with my e10/mx5 project and achieved lowered/slammed look without lowering suspension.
