@michael_girdley: The rise and fall of Ford When Ford Motor Company first started, its success depended almost entirely on one product: the Model T. For a young company, relying on a single product wasn't unusual, especially when that product helped revolutionize the entire automotive industry. But more than a century later, Ford faces a surprisingly similar problem. An estimated 90% of its profits come from just one category of vehicles, leaving the company heavily dependent on a single part of its business. Despite being one of the most iconic automakers in history, Ford has struggled to diversify its profits and maintain the dominance it once enjoyed. So how did the company that helped put America on wheels become so dependent on one type of vehicle more than 100 years later? This is the rise and fall of Ford. #business #businesstiktok #businessstory #businessbreakdown #riseandfallseries

Ford needs to innovate or die. Government policies that shield uncompetitive companies will eventually fail. Just look at Bethlehem Steel. We’ve seen this movie before and we know exactly how it ends.
