@obubba_app: fussy every evening around 5pm? 🌆 Your baby's app noticed this, episode 1. lots of babies have an unsettled stretch in the late afternoon or early evening, often called the witching hour. it's very common and it isn't something you've caused 💛 a few gentle things that often help: 1️⃣ keep the late afternoon calm and dim, fewer visitors and less noise 2️⃣ offer extra feeds and cuddles, evening cluster feeding is normal 3️⃣ lean on soothing: a carrier, gentle rocking, a walk or soft white noise 🌙 every sleep: on their back in a clear cot or sleeping bag. every baby is different, so follow your baby's cues and chat to your health visitor or GP if you're unsure. What OBubba does: log the crying or a fussy wake with one tap, and when a fussy patch between 3pm and 7pm shows up on most days of the last week, OBubba spots it and tells you roughly when it usually starts for YOUR baby. Under about 4 months it reassures you it's a normal phase that tends to ease by 3 to 4 months. From 4 months it suggests the real fix: protect the last nap and try bedtime 15 to 20 minutes earlier. It even checks whether those evening cluster feeds are buying you a longer first stretch at night 🙌 Premium is on us for the first 2 months. link in bio, tap "Newborn days and nights" 👆 #witchinghour #newborn #babysleep #clusterfeeding #newbornsleep #newmum #mumlife
