@reeynpuff: Quite a romantic song for you #Lohen who is so afraid of vulnerability. This song, Liebestod (English: Love-Death), occurs at the finale of Tristan und Isolde by Richard Wagner. Where Isolde sees her lover, Tristan's, dead body. She envisons Tristan transforming into light, sounds, and the world as a whole (because Tristan IS her world, and he felt the same towards her). If being together physically wasn't enough for both of them, what more if one of them is dead? She then gives her all in this scene by singing to her death in supreme bliss (joy), sinking into him and reuniting with him in the afterlife. How does this connect to Lohen, you say? Well, we all know Lohen has a certain relationship with combat, pain, and fighting. He seeks out these dangers in order to feel "alive", pleasure, and joy. This relationship of his with pain is almost like other people's regular romantic relationships. It's almost as if this is his way of showing vulnerability. It's a tragic relationship to have, but it's all he has. After all, pain is something he constantly carries with him, as pain is but a step towards self-gained strength. A type of strength he is slowly gaining control and agency over, as he never wants to lose such agency ever again. This is the third of my "POV: You reference __" classical music/opera edits! I'm not the best editor in the world, but this was meant to showcase more of the song anyway rather than make fancy edits lol #GenshinImpact #lohenedit #genshinfyp #opera #fyp #genshinimpact33

i feel like they put so much into his character and had so many ideas with him, and it’s so disappointing they decided to never fully show it all to us

I’ve been itching to write a lohen fanfic that is fairytale-esqe inspired and this may have given me ideas

lucien :

ppl see him to be really edgy but this is how Lohen sounds to me 😭😭 idk how to explain the feeling. it's kinda like when you yearn for someone you can't have and you have to sit with that hopeless feeling

thank you for the post!!! To add to the (very explicative!) description, I can only think of his refusal to let Adorno die, or how important his last moments with Lohen (and Theodore) were... I hope to see more of Lohen soon, maybe in a long event!!!
