I remember being called a African booty scratcher back in elementary school and during my junior year of high school my cousin moved from Africa to my school less then 4 months he got jumped while in the bathroom and had to get stitches on his head. Worst of all they also suspended him with his bullies when he fought back to protect himself this country isn’t safe for immigrants even though it is built off us

I was quite and calm and it made things worse. And if you fight back it gets worse especially when your alone. It got so bad my cousin transferred schools just to show them I wasn't alone. She was born here and she was lighter complexion, All of a sudden my bullies wanted to be friends, the struggle is definently real being african in the USA.
