@7.news.watertown: A 70-year-old Massena man died after being struck by a vehicle on State Route 37 in the town of Louisville Wednesday night. New York State Police say the man was reportedly in the roadway collecting debris when he was hit in an unlit area. The driver stopped immediately and contacted law enforcement. Troopers and emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
