Selon une enquête du Monde, cette opération représente 830 millions de vues en trois ans et plus de 10 millions d'euros de dépenses estimées. Sous couvert de dénoncer le Qatar, des publicités diffusées sur YouTube, TikTok et Facebook propagent une idéologie haineuse, en présentant notamment les quartiers issus de l'immigration maghrébine comme une menace. Les chercheurs Marc Owen Jones et Sohan Dsouza ont retrouvé plusieurs indices pointant vers le secteur privé israélien, notamment des métadonnées et des liens avec des professionnels de l'influence politique. Cette campagne se poursuit à l'approche de la présidentielle de 2027, qui est clairement une ingérence dans le débat public français.
