@addisyter1: I have carefully read the official statement released by DreamYard Preparatory School following the tragic death of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong. While I appreciate the school’s condolences, its commitment to providing counseling, and its efforts to support grieving students and staff, there is one significant issue I cannot overlook. Why does the statement say nothing about the school’s commitment to cooperating with the NYPD, assisting investigators, or providing any relevant information that could help identify and apprehend the individuals responsible for this young boy’s death? I understand that the school may be limited in what it can publicly disclose, especially while an investigation is ongoing. However, I believe the community deserves reassurance that the school is doing everything within its power to support the investigation. Javits was only 15 years old. His family deserves answers, and the people responsible must be brought to justice. To be clear, I am not accusing the school of protecting or hiding anyone. But the omission of any reference to police cooperation raises legitimate questions that deserve answers. A statement about grief is important, but accountability and cooperation are equally important. WE WANT ANSWERS. WE WANT ACCOUNTABILITY. WE WANT JUSTICE FOR JAVITS FRIMPONG.
