I was given a project at work recently. Claude wrote the code in about 10 seconds. It will take me a few weeks to make sure it works.😂

at my employer we made an AI tool that codes, tests, and deploys to a test environment, so stakeholders can skip engineers all together. It's not perfect but it works so well another AI could fix any issues with minimal engineer input.

It's funny, but watching the stakeholders try to make their own software would be unbelievably hilarious.

The main issue is that the stakeholders doesn't know the specifications 🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely need to review code before implementing. Ai spits out decent results but that always needs verification both to make sure it will act properly and securely

Sad part of this movie is that plenty of folks in corporate jobs saw this dude and thought "I could do that job"

When Claude will. ask back for clarifications.... a stakeholder doesn't have a clue what to answer. so it may ask Claude to take decision.. so Claude will make assumptions.... then based on this assumptions a completely different features could be created.

with AI we are all C level workers, we ask for someone else smarter than us to do something and hope for the better, we evaluate practical results not technical details. Long term effects of poor decisions are not our concerns. Tomorrow problems will be solved tomorrow. Basically AI changes the default market methodology from agile to xgh. That was established by the market not by any individual engineer

I think the best result and outcome is people that already know the job and know how to use AI. Can you get by without either? Maybe. Garage in and Garage Out. But those outright refusing to use AI (especially when the company offers it for free) will indeed be left behind at some point.
