I did exactly this when I was called in for a meeting. I was completely sidelined. I was told I was cold and did not make the office welcoming. In addition, I was told that I made my coworkers feel like I was doing them a favor when they asked for help. I asked for specific examples because I literally greeted EVERYONE that came through unless I was otherwise engaged with another staff. And my phrase when asked to help was that I’m always happy to help. I was told that I couldn’t get any examples because it would disclose the person who complained about me. I left three months later. They went the school year without anyone in my position. Then the next person they hired didn’t return either. When I tell you I wasn’t the problem.
