@werenotbuyingit: October 28th was a raging success! Over 35,000 sign ups, and participation across the country, with people outside supermarkets telling others not to buy, from Newcastle to London and Manchester– all of this achieved in less than three weeks! But we aren’t stopping there, in fact now we are stepping it up! It was never going to be won in one day. We are going after the biggest, baddest supermarket giant indefinitely starting December 1st. Tesco we are coming for YOU. We need one million people to pledge through the link in our bio. Say that you won’t be buying from Tesco starting December 1st until they cap the prices of essential foods!

Aaron Mackie :

people are struggling to put food on the table, can barely afford to go shopping. The struggle is real and people are desperate. The most desperate people may have to continue using supermarkets just to survive. 🙏

tas 🪷 :

You need to post on Facebook and put up posters!! Then people outside of tiktok will know

Layton :

Teddalicious :

Aventurine BELLIGLAZER :

Lulu 🫶🏼 :

Everyone who says buy from your local corner shop or independent small businesses. They are actually a lot more expensive then somewhere like tescos 🤦🏼‍♀️

Monica Moni :

This was even being discussed on channel 5.. spreading awareness

Aspen ⏾ applesyyrup :

are we including offshoot companies or just the main tesco brand

p0laris3 :

you guys need to up your socials and get bigger traction on Instagram - that's where the bulk of 30+ still reside on socials and let's be honest, the ones doing the massive / family shops the most. as someone who followed this campaign on TT, I never once saw anything related on Instagram.

Ronova :

“Who’s boycotting”

dee21 💚 :

not fair to say no buying from Tesco at all from December 1st as some people find Tesco cheapest items to be the cheapest items compared to Asda cheap items Aldi Sainsbury’s ect so unfair for them to be told they have to shop elsewhere and if not their disgusting ect

Thrifty Elle :

Count me in! I'm happy to be one in a million 😁

paulis :

but where do we buy from

sarah_linnellx :

Needs to me a lot more of use and for more days

Lilia :
