The only thing that’s slightly lifted from your abdominal cavity is your uterus. Your intestine “ guts” do not leave the inside of your body. They definitely don’t put them on a table next to you. A lot of people see bloody gauze and think it’s intestines, or the umbilical cord can also be mistaken for intestine. But rest assured, your organs are not being removed.

My husband also saw my insides when he came back from the baby warmer after cutting the cord. He said “I saw a lot of yellow” that’s my fat 😭 and he said “your insides smell funny” definitely was smelling the cauterizing lol

I have a c-section in a week and I’m scared to look but at the same time I’m kind of curious. Like wdym yall are taking my insides out, not something you get to see. The brain probably reacts so weird to seeing that😳

My man asked the nurse if he could look (he was curious). They said “at your own risk.” The look on his face 😂 it was maybe 2 seconds before he sat down extremely fast and said he’s never doing that again 😭
