My 1st grade teacher made us write out name in a native American language (forgot which one). Which would be fine if she didn't also make us write it on a crown paper hate, glue a feather to the hate and then wear it to lunch. 🫠

One time a bunch of kids were talking & being loud while my teacher was trying to talk, I told them all to be quiet and the teacher came and said to me “I’m not going to be doing this with you anymore” literally GRABBED me by the arm and dragged me next door so another teacher could ‘deal with me’ while they called my mom . Can’t make ts up

I rmb in third grade my teacher let all the white kids play at recess and made all the black kids sit in the shade and watch because we were “bad”(half of us didn’t even do anything that day and a lot of the white kids were bad too) also she gave the mixed boy in our class play time but only half of the recess time. And she would always get me mixed up with other black kidds that i looked NOTHING like but never got the white kids mixed up.
