This is how I make my crispy beef chips! These make for the perfect high protein, nutrient dense snack. It really is as simple as putting very thinly sliced beef in your dehydrator with some salt. 🧂💃 These could be made in the oven at the lowest temp it’ll go (likely around 170), but if you make jerky often it’s probably worth it to get a heavy duty dehydrator. If you’re in the USA, many Costcos sell NY strip steak very thinly sliced (“shabu shabu”) and this works great for beef chips. I really like using grass-fed packer brisket for this. It ends up being a little cheaper than the Costco steak with better quality meat, but keep in mind that it’s much more time consuming to slice it on your own. 😅 For the salt, I’d recommend using popcorn salt. It’s very fine and quickly absorbs into the meat giving it a really nice flavor. 🥰 Hope you enjoy!! P.S.
