@ndcdamongo: DAMONGO CONSTITUENCY EXECUTIVES PAY COURTESY VISITS TO DAMONGOWURA, YAGBONWURA AND STAKEHOLDERS 30th October 2026 The Constituency Executives, led by our able Chairman, Hon. Amidu Karim and Secretary Hon. Iddrisu Mohammed Astro today successfully paid courtesy visits to key traditional authorities and stakeholders within Damongo. The delegation first called on His Royal Highness the Damongowura to seek his royal blessings and fatherly counsel. The team subsequently visited His Royal Majesty the Yagbonwura, Overlord of the Gonja Kingdom, at the Jakpa Palace. As part of our unity and reconciliation drive, the Executives also extended visits to some selected aspirants who contested but did not succeed, to strengthen bonds and assure them of their integral place in our collective agenda. They are: 1. Chairman Trouble 2. Mr. Alhassan 3. Chairman Dolina 4. Chairman Iddri Other aspirants will be visited in subsequent engagements. Hon. Amidu Karim, on behalf of the Executives, expressed profound gratitude to the Damongowura and the Yagbonwura for their warm reception and continuous commitment to peace and development in Damongo. He emphasized that our tradition remains our bedrock and that no political ambition is greater than the unity of Gonjaland. He further commended the aspirants visited for their spirit of sportsmanship and called on all supporters to emulate their maturity and rally behind the common goal of victory and development for our constituency.
