I’m a social worker and I’ve had to take a minute to cool off because I have almost screamed at people. It’s so hard not to because we’re advocating for the most innocent. Let me tell you tho I absolutely roundhouse these mfers in my head tho.

I am an animal behavior consultant. Been on hard core rescues, horders, ran an animal shelter etc. One of the hardest parts is keeping your cool for the benefit of the animal. When the animal has died, all bets are off. You are ride or die and I salute you for that.

I am/was a child protection worker … I was working with a family where there was CSA… I asked mom about her continued relationship with her “husband” (offender) and she stated he was her partner/father of her kids. I asked how she could be with someone who would do that to her child her response was “my daughter isn’t a v!rg!n?!?” And I had to take some deep breaths before I said that he took that from her child. I went back and explained to my supervisor if I didn’t have an intern with me I probably would have gone to jail as I’ve never wanted to put hands on someone so badly in my life. 😡🤬🤯🤬😡

Ive worked in children services in diff capacities. I have always said that animal abuse/neglect and child abuse/neglect go hand in hand. The mentality of allowing or causing suffering to a soul that cant help themselves knows no species barrier.
