For many women, the hijab isn’t a choice. It’s imposed through force, pressure, and threats of punishment for refusing to wear it. So I have to ask you: why do you want to promote something that is a symbol of oppression for so many women?
If You say it’s comfortable and entirely your choice. If you love wearing it so much, do you wear it 24/7, even at home? If not, then perhaps it’s worth asking whether it’s really about comfort or whether it’s about religious expectations.
But have you ever stopped to think about the message you send when you publicly celebrate and promote the hijab, knowing that other women are punished for refusing to wear it? You may experience it as freedom, but other women experience it as control over their own bodies.
And honestly, when people defend the practice without acknowledging the women who are forced into it, it reinforce negative perceptions of Islam and contribute to resentment towards Muslims.
