I took Amtrak from NYC to Chicago w my 6month old twins in a bedroom w bathroom and it was the BEST. Train movement is like a rocker, staff was awesome, way easier than it sounds. Worth the price!

I LOVE doing the Roomettes on Amtrak! The personal car attendants are great! They make your bed at night & put it away in the morning, remind you of stops, reserve your dining room reservations/arrange to have meals delivered, & I’ve even had them bring my kids warm cookies at night before bed! Meals in the dining car are included but remember to bring cash to tip the servers and your car attendant!

My mom and I used to do the bunk beds all the time to go visit my dad when I was little and it was such a fun way to travel! 😊

if its just a few hrs ride on the train from San Antonio to Dallas is it worth the $$ rather than doing the trip just booking a seat 💺 rather than a roomette?

I got a room at one time from San Diego to Maricopa in Arizona.. it was like 8 hour train ride for about $250

That top bunk looks like a luggage 🧳 overhead storage area. There is no way and should be sleeping on that .

Many questions 😁 I’m legally blind with a guide dog and have really thought about traveling by train. I still have central vision some and think I can do it. What are your trips, how do you leave the station and plan ahead of time? Asking for an old 55, rural living, blind, kids raised and wanting to get out a lil. 😎 Clemson has a station and I live real close.
