I used to be a teacher but then I became a mom. If I stayed home we’d barely make ends meet but if I worked then I wouldn’t see my kid and 90% of my money would go to childcare. So I stayed home and we barely make it by. My husband is DACA and we got married THREE years ago but can’t afford to start the citizenship process because we’re barely getting by as is. he does everything he can but we’re also just so stuck and I’m always worried something is gonna happen to him and then where would we be :( but we’ll keep trying to push forward for our kids

my mom’s parents passed away while she was getting her papers here so she couldn’t even go and say her goodbyes. my parents came here basically sin nada, and with 3 kids in their early 20s is crazy! I can’t imagine their struggles 😭 you’re so right though, everything is SOOO expensive right now!! living paycheck to paycheck.

You did a coffee giveaway on that video that I won, the following day I had to have my daughter admitted for 2 weeks with dad in 🧊 custody. I spent those 10 in gas to get to children’s hospital 45 min away. We are all barely surviving and it’s insane the amount of people that are in this situation. Prior to this never depended on the government and now I’m having to apply to everything under the sun to survive with my kids and medical bills. Thank you for shedding light to this, we truly are going through it. Hugs to everyone we will all find a way to make it through!!!💗 Un día a la vez. ✨💗
