I'm 46 and my parents never spend much, if any time playing with us as kids. The only difference is we were kick outside to play instead of being in our rooms on video games.

I’m 60, my three kids didn’t have the distractions that kids have now. Tv, computer and a Nintendo DS. I gave them “screen time” and my eldest said to me a while ago (he’s 26) that it was the best thing I could have done. They played outside, helped me in the garden, washed dishes, we went on a lot of adventures to beaches and forests. Hopefully they will pass this on to their children

It’s so true!! My adult Daughter apparently stays in her room and texts her 15 year old. They don’t eat together, spend so little time together. I eat with her at a table and we talk and play chess .shes an amazing kid

It’s so true we see it in schools all the time children who are just ignored then the parents wonder why the kids are playing up
